Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva 2010, Carpineto has just arrived in time for Christmas!
Wine Spectator gave it 93 points and said 'Enticing aromas of sweet cherry, leather, spice and underbrush stay focused on the palate as this harmonious red unfolds. The hint of oak on the finish suggests this still has time to evolve. Offers a mineral-laced finish.'
Interestingly enough, Mr. Carpineto thinks it's better than his Brunello - at nearly half the price!
At €27.00 per btl it's a steal! And we have a 6-pack & CASE OFFER

Antiguas Reserva Cabernet & Tiki Sauvignon Blanc are both recommended in the Irish Times today.
Tiki Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2011, Marlborough, €14.99
(only €13.99 at McCabes, 10% off when you buy 6 or more in store, Special case offers online!)
This won Noffla white wine of the year. I handed a glass of this to my in-house Marlborough Sauvignon expert, who said “it tastes just like Marlborough Sauvignon should”. So, fresh aromatic with decent clean, green fruits, and a squeeze of lime. This is a well-made wine to enjoy solo or with fish.
Cousino Macul Cabernet Sauvignon Antiguas Reserva 2010, Valle del Maipo, Chile, €14.95
10% off when you buy 6 or more in store, Special case offers online!)
This was named Noffla red wine of the year. It is an attractive medium-bodied cabernet with slightly earthy but elegant blackcurrant fruits, hints of spice and a smooth dry finish. Try it with roast beef or lamb.
Available in both shops and Special case deals online here!
